Weapons
Warriors use swords, axes, and hammers scaling with Physical. Mages use staves and wands scaling with Spell. Weapons drop at dungeon-appropriate rarities and upgrade with coins in the lobby.
Legendary and Secret weapons accept perks via reforging. Fabled weapons at 215+ include three perk tiers and gem rerolls for base stats (2000 gems per reroll).
Class weapon types

Fabled weapon pipeline
Character level 215+ unlocks Fabled craft with rare Secret boss material from Calamity. Banish Heirloom (Warrior) and Roseborne Fable staves (Mage) lead meta tier lists.
Three perk tiers on Fabled — lock two before reforging third. Base stats randomize on craft — budget 2000-gem rerolls until Pot and perk layout acceptable.
Elementalness 4 and Lucky 3 are Warrior perk benchmarks. Mages prioritize CDR and spell multiplier perks before luck.
Reforge strategy
Never reforge all slots at once — lock best line, roll one slot, repeat. Perk Runes are Calamity-time expensive — farm during Material Boost events.
Arcanist perk grants XP bonus — keep on leveling alt weapons, replace on main Calamity weapon.
